Mental Health Support

Improving mental health is a priority for both the government and local health and care systems. But with rising demand, workforce shortages, funding constraints and a need to increase integration with system partners, mental health services continue to face significant delivery challenges.

Arden & GEM’s Clinical Support team comprises experienced, registered clinicians who work alongside care providers to offer additional capacity and support tailored to each directorate or organisation’s needs.

Our Mental Health Support covers:

  • Purposeful clinical leadership to facilitate a shared vision for co-produced, quality driven, population focussed, connected services at a system and place level
  • Education, provision and facilitation of structured group supervision to clinical teams to enable workforce resilience, improved staff retention and clinical sustainability
  • Provision of clinical support at a service line level enabling capacity within operational and clinical leaders.
  • Senior experience of leading transformational change which is sustained and embedded including at frontline service level (community and inpatients)
  • Delivery of improvements to address challenges in clinical areas, collaborating directly with clinicians to embed change.
  • Discovery support to review and reflect on services, through to enabling capacity to deliver and embed quality improvements
  • Supporting quality improvements in clinical pathways, access to services and improving patient flow
  • Reviewing, aligning and improving pathways and processes e.g. section 117 – enabling critical professional challenge to enable sustained quality improvements across implementation
  • A clear focus on clinician and patient/carer engagement to drive advancements in technical solutions and possibilities to improve outcomes.
  • Improving compliance with national priorities including Core20PLUS5 and severe mental illness (SMI) physical health checks and interventions
  • Increasing confidence in developing services for accreditation with the Royal College of Psychiatry.
