Arden & GEM is delighted to have been awarded Investors in People silver accreditation.
Achieved by just 15% of organisations assessed, silver accreditation recognises that the right people management principles are in place, and that leaders are making active efforts to ensure consistent application of those principles.
John Parkes, Managing Director at Arden & GEM said:
“We are proud to have achieved silver accreditation by demonstrating our commitment to realising our objectives through the management and development of our people. Our workforce is our strongest and most important asset and I was thrilled to see our assessor comment on how our people’s passion and desire to support the health service shone through.”
The award follows a detailed assessment of Arden & GEM’s people management processes, which included an online staff survey and face to face interviews with colleagues across the organisation. The assessment took place against nine themes:
- leading and inspiring people
- living the organisation’s values and behaviours
- empowering and involving people
- managing performance
- recognising and rewarding high performance
- structuring work
- building capability
- delivering continuous improvement
- creating sustainable success.
“We’d like to congratulate Arden & GEM. Silver accreditation on ‘We invest in people’ is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places Arden & GEM in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
