Primary Care Support Services

The growing pressure on Primary Care is well documented. Increasing patient demand, multimorbidity and complex needs, workload and workforce pressures, complex administrative and technological burdens and financial constraints are all common challenges faced by General Practice, Dentistry, Optometry and Pharmacy.

Arden & GEM provides a range of Primary Care Support Services aimed at multiple levels of primary care delivery, from individual GP Practices through to Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). From delivering greater understanding of the GMS contract and PCN DES, to enabling maximisation of Impact and Investment Funding, Quality Outcomes Framework funding and Additional Roles funding, at each level our aim is to help organisations maximise the potential of primary care services and deliver the most effective services for patients. We also support with Population Health Management and health and social care integration with scalable solutions across all components of Primary Care.

• Working collaboratively with primary care organisations to understand their individual challenges through detailed diagnostics and co-design and deliver multidisciplinary solutions
• Creating solutions through multidisciplinary teams drawing on our in-house specialist expertise spanning digital/IT, business intelligence/analytics, population health, workforce planning, organisational development, leadership coaching, financial management, procurement, contract management and governance
• Utilising experience gained as clinicians, directors, and senior managers with currency in designing, commissioning and providing support to primary care that adds value to the NHS and keeps the patient at the forefront of service delivery.
