Organisational design and development is fundamental to the NHS’s ability to deliver high quality, efficient and sustainable healthcare.

Having the correct design for your organisation, and ongoing development required to deliver your objectives, provides an opportunity to enhance patient care, improve performance and deliver the agility required to adapt to changes in technology, policy and needs of your population. These processes foster a culture of continuous improvement that can improve staff satisfaction and play a pivotal role in the delivery of your strategic objectives.

Arden & GEM’s Health and Care Transformation team provides a range of specialist support that empowers NHS organisations to establish optimal design and development programmes for their individual operating environment and vision for efficient and sustainable healthcare. We see organisational design as a ‘people change’ process and support you to work together in shaping an approach that will enable you to deliver against your objectives.

Our Organisational Design and Development support works collaboratively with HR colleagues and leaders to understand the demands of their health economy and develop the structure, competencies and capacity to deliver the required results. This includes:

  • Workforce planning
  • Developing change management competencies.
