The IT Service Desk does not accept requests via email, therefore the quickest way to get help is by contacting our IT Service Desk directly in one of the following ways:-

  • Via our Online Customer self-service portal - this is for new equipment requests, starters/leavers etc and incidents that impact one person or a small number of people.

    • Please visit https://icssupport.haloitsm.com/portal
    • When visiting our Customer Self Service Portal, you will be asked to Create an account with a username and password – the username is your NHS email address and if you are a first-time portal user or have forgotten your password, please click “Forgot Password?”, enter your email address in the username box (NOT the email address box, leave this blank) and select ‘Submit’.
    • We would then encourage you to save the Portal link in your Favourites and familiarise yourself with the Portal and how to make a service request in the future.
    • Guidance on how to use the portal can be found here - IT Self-Service Portal user guide

  • Calling the IT Service Desk on 0300 123 1020 – this is for High priority incidents such as clinically urgent requests or when it is not possible to contact us via the Self Service Portal.
