Arden & GEM’s award-winning procurement team was selected to work in close partnership with NHS England, clinical experts and patient representatives to award a three-year contract to establish an Auditory Brain Implantation service to enable profoundly deaf children to hear.

Arden & GEM’s procurement team has worked in partnership with NHS England Highly Specialised Commissioning to successfully appoint specialist centres to provide a cutting-edge surgery for children who are deaf, by inserting auditory brainstem implants into the brain.
In order to support 3,300 people, throughout the West Midlands, to find employment; health and care organisations are collaborating on a ground-breaking randomised controlled trial – the ‘Thrive into Work’ programme.
